Tina Aitken

I am 52 years old and live in the amazing town of Whangamata. I grew up here, moved away at 17 years old, have been away for 30 years and came back 5 years ago, I feel like I have come back home.

I am with the Coastal Rockers (rock n roll dancing) in Whangamata. Several of our rock'n'rollers do line dancing and they sometimes show us some dances at our club night, so I thought I would give it a go.

I enjoy(finally) getting the routine, I enjoy the music, I love Donna's energy, fun and encouragement, I love having a break in my day to get some exercise and have fun.

I love most music so don't really have a favourite. I would be happy to get up and dance anywhere in the world (if I had someone to follow!).

Everyone should give it a go, we all had to start somewhere and not everyone has rhythm, and it doesn't matter, as long as you are having fun!
