I've been coming to paradise aka Tairua for 36 years when my husband and I found our bach on Ocean Beach Road.

 But I'll go back a few years. I left here in 1978 at the age of 23 on a one way ticket to London with a girlfriend. I had almost 10 years there. Had fabulous temp jobs. I fell into working  in travel in Earls Court starting off at Top Deck Travel then onto managing the first Flight Center on Earls Court Road. I loved going to Greece with my friend 3 or 4 times each summer to Los Paros and Santorini mostly. Travelling to soooo many countries as it was so easy and very often free. I came home to visit Mum n Dad every other year until eventually returning to stay end of 1987. 

 Paradise has always been where my heart is and I've now flipped my life and live here most of the time. 

 Music has alllllways been huge in my life and dancing too. My father taught ballroom dancing and taught us kids.  Elaine (another regular Stepper) has been my dance partner for 30 years at Ocean Beach Road  parties.  So I just had to start Donna's line dancing class for a bit of fun. 

OMGoodness... what an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G change to my Friday mornings. I'm the one with 3 left feet getting told off allll the time. But WOW such fun. Incredible support or NOT. I'm always facing someone who's doing it right. But that doesn't stop me. I love the energy, passion, patience and funny jokes that Donna pokes at all of us. Herself included periodically too. 

 And the music is the BESTEST, oh and not to mention the great group of friends (some mad as me). If you have ever had a FOMO moment.... then Donna's Salty Steppers  is where you should head for allll sorts if reasons.
